Eastern Dream Essential Oil Blend

Sweet Orange (Citrus sinensis) essential oil:
Sweet Orange essential oil is extracted from the rind of Citrus sinensis and it boasts anti-inflammatory, antidepressant, antispasmodic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, carminative, diuretic, tonic and sedative qualities. Research has shown it to be beneficial in treating skin conditions such as acne, eczema and psoriasis, reducing the appearance of scars, and is popular in a broad range of skincare and beauty products due to its antioxidant properties. It is an excellent ingredient to add to any skin/hair care products. Sweet Orange essential oil has been used for centuries for its immune boosting effects, for cold and for symptoms and even to reduce pain and inflammation in muscles and joints.

Vanilla (Vanilla planifolia) CO² Extracted essential oil:
Purely Essential Vanilla Essential Oil is extracted from vanilla beans via high-pressured CO₂, which produces this incredibly potent vanilla essential oil. Research has shown that Vanilla essential oil demonstrates antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antidepressant properties. Lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus) essential oil:
The uplifting, energising scent of lemongrass is shown in studies to relieve anxiety, stress, depression, to support concentration and reduce fatigue, as well as to relieve headaches and migraines. Lemongrass essential oil is prized for its anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, astringent and muscle relaxing qualities. It contains Citral which works quickly to reduce inflammation, swelling and helps alleviate pain due to inflammation such as arthritic conditions and injuries. With its antibacterial and antifungal properties, it is purifying and toning to the skin and is beneficial in treating skin infections and fungal skin conditions.

Frankincense (Boswellia serrata) essential oil:
In aromatherapy, Frankincense essential oil has been shown to reduce heart rate, lower blood pressure, relieve coughing, cold and flu symptoms and has the ability to eliminate cold and flu germs from the home. It also acts as an anti-inflammatory in the nasal passages, opening up breathing passages and making breathing easier, including for those with allergies or asthma. Boswellia serrata is regarded as the best variety for topical use, for its strong anti-inflammatory properties and has been used to treat arthritic conditions. It has shown to strengthen skin, improve skin tone, help support elastin and hyaluronic acid to improve the appearance of skin firmness, and to improve elasticity and minimising wrinkles.

Clove Bud (Syzygium aromaticum) essential oil:
Clove Bud essential oil has a sweet and spicy scent that energises and stimulates,  boosts focus, enhances concentration, as well as to eliminates bad odours and alleviates respiratory problems such as cough, cold, bronchitis, asthma, sinusitis and sore throats. Topically used, Clove Bud essential oil soothes tension, relieves body aches and pains, reduces inflammation, nourishes and help calms irritated skin, reduces redness, wrinkles, pigmentation and puffiness to leave your complexion deeply soothed and supple.

Sandalwood (Santalum album) essential oil:
The earthy and woody scent of Sandalwood essential oil has shown in studies to calm the mind, uplift mood and reduce anxiety, lower blood pressure and cortisol levels, and to promote sleep. It is reputed to ease headache, migraine, cough, cold and flu, has long been used to alleviate body aches and pain, muscle spasms, cramps, tension and inflammation. Sandalwood essential oil boasts multiple beneficial qualities for skin and hair health, and research has shown it to display anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral and antiseptic properties.

Suggestions for Use:

Add 4-8 drops to diffuser, or put sufficient amount in oil burner for its exotic aroma to energise and stimulate, boost focus, enhance concentration, as well as to eliminate bad odours and alleviate respiratory problems such as cough, cold, bronchitis, asthma, sinusitis and sore throats.

Add a few drops of Eastern Dream essential oil blend to your shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, hand wash or other skin care products for its delicious aroma plus its anti-aging and skin health benefits.

Add 20-25 drops to a hot bath to reduce tension, relieve body aches and pains, and to nourish and rejuvenate skin.

Add 3-5 drops to 50ml of carrier oil of choice for a massage oil that promotes muscular relaxation, relieves sore and aching muscles and reduces inflammation.

For a natural air freshener spray, combine 5-10 drops of Eastern Dream essential oil blend with 1½ tablespoon of alcohol (sugarcane ethanol, vodka or witch hazel), then mix into 2 cups of water and pour into a spray bottle. Shake well before use.

For a homemade natural cleaning solution, mix 10 drops of Eastern Dream essential oil blend together with 1 cup of white vinegar, ¼ cup of baking soda and 2 cups hot water. Pour into a spray bottle and shake well before use.
